Richard Branson has told the Associated Press that he will be taking his 2 children on the trip of a lifetime next year. They will be launching into space aboard a Virgin Galactic Spaceship 2 spacecraft.

They will fly 62-miles (100 kilometers) above the Earths surface aboard SS2. Holly and Sam will be joining their father and 529 other paying customers, they paid $200,000 each for the ride.

The launch will take place in 2013 aboard the SS2, which seats 6 passengers.  There has been no report of who else will be in the first historic flight with the Bransons.
